• Large shower stall; very nice internet lounge upstairs.
• Buffet not up to selection and quality experienced at other resorts on east coast.

“If you like a Downtown location you might like this hotel more than we did. We attended a wedding at the Buenaventura so didn't have a choice, unless we spent a lot of time traveling by bus. It is convenient for dining out as there are many good restaurants within walking distance. The buffet at the hotel is okay - we were glad we didn't do all inclusive. My husband and I both enjoyed a wonderful massage in the rooftop spa. We had wireless internet in our room for free but I believe they charged to use their computers in the very quiet and nice lounge upstairs. We found Puerto Vallarta itself expensive and didn't like that the ocean was too cold and rough to swim in (a few tried but never stayed long).”

• Location to downtown.
• Had to change rooms 3 times in 2 days to get what we originally booked for.

“Hotel ok. They try to stick you in the worse room in the hotel unless you complain. Don't except anything on the south side as it is currently the oldest part of the hotel. After many complaints we were finally moved to the north side of the hotel.”

• I cannot say anything that I liked because I was very disappointed with this hotel.
• Activities very poor, staff unfriendly except maids, having to pay safety box in room. No entertainment.

“I would not recommend this hotel to other singles. Staff are not very friendly and the activities were very poor, the activities staff we not the best. I have encountered much more fun staff in other hotels. Having no entertainment is unacceptable for an all inclusive hotel.”

• The pool area, beach and restaurant were very nice.
• The rooms were not very comfortable.

“The hotel staff was very accommodating The room they gave us was not the one we had booked, but they quickly corrected the problem. The location was very convenient for walking to restaurants and shopping.”

• I loved the pools and spa.
• Beds a tad hard.

“We took gave our children a family (14 of us) vacation Jan.7/14th, 06. This hotel was just what we wanted. Great food (better than 4 & 5 stars I've stayed at). The staff were always helpful but never imposing. Our rooms were clean and did not smell musty. My grandson built sand castles on the beach and the sound of the surf was amazing! Would I recommend this hotel. You bet I would. After all you are in Mexico. So go Mexican..”
