  • Nothing - the hotel would not honor the reservation.
  • The hotel would not honor my reservation.

“This hotel claimed that it did not have my reservation, then it said the reservation was made with booking.com (not priceline.com) and that it was fully booked. They tried to send me to other hotels for double the 99E cost that my booking was for. I finally found an email from priceline.com (not booking.com) telling me to phone the hotel - but of course, I did not check my email until after I got to the hotel. Thus, I was sent wandering around Munich with 80 pounds of luggage looking for a hotel. We all know that hotels always have some sort of room available but this hotel merely sent me out into the street, claiming that it had no responsibility to honor the booking.”

  • The location (across from train station) is outstanding.
  • The bed was awful. Very firm.

“Hotel was good overall. Good value, great location, good (indoor) pool. Room was well appointed. Bed was awful, very firm. It was quite hard for me to sleep because of the bed. Still, the location is quite good, especially for anyone who wants to use the trains. Marienplatz is a 5 minute walk.”

  • Very nice indoor pool and fitness center, great location.
  • Breakfast.

“Spotless, very nice in-house bar. We arrived and departed Munich via train so the location was especially convenient. Easy walk to Marienplatz, which is a good place to begin a walking tour. Room was smallish but nicely turned out
lacked for nothing. Very nice facilities for a swim and sauna in-between outdoor jaunts in the cold December weather. Breakfast buffet, while pricey.”

  • Extremely friendly and helpful staff with wonderful rooms, gorgeous courtyard and excellent facilities.
  • The hot tub closed too early, it closed at 9 and would have been perfect after a long day.

“My wife and I stayed for our first and last nights in Munich on a two week European vacation. Our luggage didn't make it and the Concierge was extremely helpful and called the airlines repeatedly. They also were able to guide us through the city and give us some excellent suggestions for sightseeing. The room was very comfortable and tastefully decorated. They were also located directly across from the Main Train station which was extremely convenient. Excellent hotel with phenomenal staff. Well done.”

  • Perfect location to get around Munich fast.
  • When asking about long distance rates, the front desk could not tell me the cost until after making the call.

“We can't wait to return to the le meridian Munich.”

  • Very good restaurant and very comfortable room.
  • Neighborhood around hotel is quite seedy and the lobby full of smokers.

“To its merit, this hotel has a very good restaurant with very friendly staff who remembered my wife and me. The room was very clean and comfortable. Also, I felt I had to hold my breath whenever walking through the clouds of cigarette smoke in the lobby. It was carcinogen central! In fact, Munich is quite filthy with the litter of discarded cigarette butts everywhere! I also disliked the ridiculous fees charged for internet access.”

“Nice hotel, in a great city. Hotel staff was very friendly, and were happy to help. Prices for food, and drinks were high.”

  • It's located right near the train station.
  • It lacks character.

“A good business class hotel with a central location right near the main train station. In my opinion however, it falls below the luxury category.”

  • Very new and superior styling, classy.
  • Very bad surrounding area, awkward dirty shops on the outside hotel street area.

“Quite new luxury hotel opposite the central train station. The hotel is located around a corner, 9 levels going around a very nice and clam inner court. Only a small part of the street level covered by the hotel belongs to it. The rest are dirty awkward shops. Nice spa facilities, but I experienced them too dirty and a little bit worn. ”
