• The location was awesome. It was right near a metro station and close to many attractions.
• There was a lot of construction around at the time.

“It's not the most upscale hotel around but considering we were only using it for sleeping, it was great due to its close proximity to a metro station, mall, food services, and attractions.”

• Quiet ambiance, warm helpful staff, great location.
• No problems.

“It was several years ago, but we went with a large group and were given very good service. The lobby was warm and comfortable. It was not an American hotel with every little whim. But that's why we picked it. Rooms were clean, simple and comfortable. Staff was most helpful and warm. Speaking Spanish and having conversation with the staff helps the situation. Americans who refuse to try will get poor service all over Madrid. Cost was great. Great location - right by metro and palace. Walking distance to several places and some good genuine Spanish cuisine near by. Not very touristy. Americans who want American hotel experience may be disappointed, but those who want an European experience will enjoy.”

• Not far from freeway
• pick something, anything. It was grim! Never again!!!

“It was dirty, sparse, smelled mutty, had completely flat pillows, the bathroom had hair all over it, the floor was grimy!!!!!”
