• The staff was very friendly and helpful.
• The drunks outside on the sidewalk.

“The air conditioner in the room was very noisy. The room itself was very large and nice.”

• Excellent location.
• Poor service, outdated room decor, no iron in room, poor elevator.

“The hotel is in an excellent location. However, it does not merit four stars. The room was large; however, the decor was outdated. Same for the bathroom: Large with marble floors but outdated bath tub/shower head and counter tops. The service was decent, but not what you would expect at a four star hotel.”

• Location to old city.
• Trying to sell upgrade, rooms, meal packages.

“The hotel was fine - although I do not think it really qualifies as 4 star. The staff were ok but upon our arrival immediately attempted to sell us an upgrade. In addition they informed us that the phone card to call US did not operate on the pay phone in the lobby - which was not true. All that said all the staff were very good at giving directions to places of interest, had plenty of maps available and all spoke pretty good English.”

• The hotel setting is beautiful.
• The staff provided the worst service I ever experienced.

“Overall, I liked the setting of the hotel, but the staff was not courteous and very unfriendly. In addition, I was asked to pay an additional room rate for both nights because they said my room was booked for two people, when we were a group of four. This was an additional expense I did not anticipate, and the manner the receptionist handled it was extremely poor. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone for this reason.”

• Location and interior courtyard.
• Small rooms, moldy smell in bathroom.

• The staff was already ready to answer any questions we had.
• We had some problems connecting to the wi-fi.

“This is a very comfortable, clean hotel that is ready to serve your needs. We had problems connecting to the free wi-fi and the hotel staff sent a technician to our room. That's how high quality the service was. It was a great experience. It was close to a few metro stops which made seeing all the sights very easy and fun to navigate. I highly recommend this hotel.”

• Location though I didn't have time to enjoy it....
• Although rated as 4-star, furniture in lobby was VERY worn. No matrimonial bed.

“I know things are different in Europe, but I really expected a bit more for a 4-star hotel. The lobby matched the photo on line, but was extremely worn and a bit soiled. We were not offered a "matrimonial" bed (and I was too tired to go ask for one once we had arrived in our room and saw there were two twins). The room was very spacious and protected from street noise, but there was only one chair in the room.”

• Excellent location.
• 30 for additional bed per night.

“Hotel is in an excellent location, v close to sights and shopping. The staff are very efficient, although initial response by email was slow in forthcoming. The rooms are spacious and do have air-conditioning. Breakfast is "on offer" for '10. Charge of '30 for supplementary bed. For 1/2 people, it's well recommended though.”

• You had to leave the keys at the desk.
