“I were not allowed to have friends into my room for a visit. In one incident, the receptionist didn't allow my guest to come up to my room. When I insisted, they gave me 15 minutes only for his visit! It was the first time I see things as such happen in 4 stars hotel.”

“This was a nice friendly hotel at the city border with a trendy design, I would recommend it to friends and family.”

“Quiet neighborhood on side street 3 blocks from central train station & 2 Subway lines. One block from tram line that goes right to all the main attractions. Very contemporary Milanese room decor. In-room safe. Very satisfactory breakfast buffet with good coffee.”

“This hotel was very good value for money. The newly refurbished rooms were bright and clean and the beds were comfortable. The bath/shower area was a bit cramped, but in the normal European tradition. The staff was very helpful, even while being quite harried during peak times.”

“We did not get to stay at our original hotel and were transferred to another hotel 300 meters away that was in a terrible neighborhood. It was supposedly a 4 star hotel. We were scared to leave the hotel. We had to walk a longer distance to the train station with our luggage. We were charged to use our calling card. The staff were unfriendly. The room was ugly. There was no bathtub, the room was small, and the view was awful. The TV was tiny. Not enjoyable.”

“Perfect for the short trip when you want to use the train to go to other north-Italian cities, rooms are comfortable and decorated in bright colors, staff partly very helpful while some were ignorant.”

“The hotel is cute, although hard to locate. The room was clean, yet the bedding and chairs looked tattered. The wall colors were bright, as were the different colored lights that were in the room. Nice location. Twenty minute walk to Milan's central area.”

“The hotel sent us to their sister property a few blocks away. The interior of the room is like from the 70's.”

“We arrived on the train late in the evening and found out Hotel Mediolanum did not have a room for us that night. They sent us in a taxi to their sister property (Hotel Sampi) a few blocks away. That hotel was definitely not as nice. We asked to be transferred back to Hotel Mediolanum for the second night. Upon checking back in, the front desk was very apologetic and pleasant, and gave us an upgraded room. We enjoyed our second night very much.”

“My wife and I took a trip thru Europe last week. We stopped in Milan for one night at this property. The location is alright, but this hotel is definitely not a 4 star hotel. The rooms not only smell funny, the quality from the furniture, towels, pillows, etc., was very cheap! A motel 6 have better beds and pillows. The air conditioner was not working. After we book this hotel, we checked out the web site and saw that the rooms are decorated in different colors, but we never imagine that they were so bright they can give you a headache. The overall experience in this property was terrible. Very disappointed that has a rating of 4 stars when it does not come near to one”

“Hotel was on a great little street in a great area within walking distance of Milan train station. Overall staff was going the extra mile except with trying to get access for online airline check in. Finally he agreed he could let us use the computer for that purpose without 10euro price tag. I would stay here again.”

“This hotel was rated as 4 stars, but it was closer to 2 stars. The holiday inn would have been nicer. The furniture was cheap and space. The comforter on the bed was visibly dirty and cheap. I had comments made to me on my second day walking back to the hotel which were inappropriate. ”

“It is a trendy modern hotel. Rooms are somewhat on the small size. Our room was bright pink with "pinkish" circles in the walls. Apparently the rooms have "themed" colors with the other ones being orange, blue and green. The bathroom was clean but with shower only. The underground to the centre, along with shops and bars, can be reached by a 5-10 min walk.”

“This hotel was not what I expected. Customer service was very poor. Amenities listed were not offered upon arrival or there was a surcharge that wasn't disclosed.”

“My wife and I would offer different opinions regarding this hotel, however she is a very inexperienced international traveler, so you'll read my review! I thought this hotel was a good value. The room had a problem with the design of the bathroom and there was almost no access to the urinal and limited access to the toilet. The breakfast buffet was better than average. The staff were almost always helpful. I used their business center printer for 2 hours of solid printing and they only charged me 5 euros. The best feature of the hotel is the location and access to the central train station and metro. I would definitely stay here again. My wife thought the room was dusty and did not like the response from the staff to open the window when she complained that the room was too warm.”
