“This hotel totally met my expectations for the Marriott brand. The service was polite and generally helpful, room service was okay, and the bed was comfortable.”

“Great hotel overall. Nice, friendly and helpful staff. Was extremely unhappy that the pool, jacuzzi and sauna were not operational during my visit. Location is actually in Swiss Cottage, not Regents Park.”

“Excellent location in Swiss Cottage, 5 minute walk to underground. Room very nice with standard Marriott amenities. Restaurant staff not very good, inattentive not professional. Final hotel bill was wrong, including substantial bar charges that were not mine.”

“Rooms are very comfortable with typical Marriott beds; hotel is clean and fairly quiet. The location is not ideal unless one has business in this part of London but the Tube is a short walk away and there are cabs. Unfortunately a fire alarm sounded at 2:30 a.m. and frightened everyone at the hotel out of sleep. The hotel should have done something to compensate the guests for this inconvenience-free breakfast, free night, or similar. It was really awful to experience as we had no idea what the excruciatingly loud sirens were until we got through to the front desk.”

“The beds were luxurious and so comfortable. Towels were large and fluffy. Everything was immaculately clean. Furniture and design of the rooms were modern and attractive. Friendly and professional staff. Insufficient TV channels.”

“If you're traveling for pleasure and want to spend more time out than in your room, this hotel will get the job done. The fitness room and related facilities are also quite nice. The food, however, is outrageously overprices and in some instances was inedible.”

“Hotel located within a easy walk (5minutes to Central London through Swiss Cottage Tube Station on the Jubilee Line. While outside of Zone 1, it was within Zone 2 which made it close enough that we didn't ride long. The room was comfortable, American style room with modern bathroom/shower and nice beds. My wife and I would stay here again. But keep in mind London is very expensive against the US Dollar. Everything cost twice as much as it would in the states. But we had a pleasant stay and would return.”

“The Marriott is a clean, pleasant efficient hotel located within easy walking distance from Swiss Cottage station. The room was spacious and clean, very comfortable and representative of European Marriott hotels. This particular hotel is undergoing refurbishment, which was not at all noisy at the weekend I stayed there, but did restrict access to the restaurant.”

“Very pleasant travel experience. Although they are in the middle of an extensive renovation it was not very visible. Staff went the extra mile to make sure I was happy with room & upgraded me when they saw I had 2 separate reservations that would have caused me to move if in a double. Many restaurants near by as well as very close to tube station. Close walk to Camden, St. John's Wood & Zoo. Concierge was excellent with recommendations! A winner in my book for the money an excellent value!”

“My husband and I were in London for a leisurely weekend and given the price was right, I wouldn't complain, but in hindsight, I would have paid more money I would have stayed in a more central location.”

“I was very happy with the value of the hotel but I was unprepared for the fact that it was on Zone 2 of the tube. That made our day-to-day travels a bit more costly.”

“I don't know what is happening with hotels but certainly the star rating needs to be revised. For this kind of money you expect to be treated better and to not have to put up with drunken louts in the bar at all hours. There is a general decline in quality in hotels and really when we aim for four stars we want four star services. This didn't match up. You would be better off in a nice family run smaller hotel where the rooms may not be as nice but the cosines and comfort would meet expectations.”

“Restaurant was not good. Service was terrible. Food wasn't that great either. Took over 25 min to get my bill and then pay it. Never brought my water. Never brought the bread she said she was going to bring. Never asked me if I wanted dessert, which I was considering.”

“This is a very nice older property. It was a short walk to the underground and the staff was very helpful. The concierge was very helpful with our tours and pre-trip plans. The television service is limited and the in-room internet is a little expensive. I guess that was a good thing in the long run. It made us go out and see the city instead of sitting in the room working on the computer or watching TV.”
