• Fancy lobby and convenient location.
• Small bathroom and walls were thin.

“Nice hotel on the main drag in San Juan. Lobby was really impressive. Room was ok but bathroom was really small and in need of a makeover. Very busy area. Would not want to stay here for more than a night or two with kids. Probably a good place to stay for singles and ones looking for good nightlife.”

• Upscale restaurants.
• Decor & Techno music.

“If you like constant techno music and cheesy decor this hotel is for you. This used to be the most elegant hotel on the island & now its nothing more than an overrated, teeny booper hotel with carpets that smell & dirty. The rooms have white modern furniture so u can see all the dirt. Very corny. The new owners destroyed this once beautiful upscale hotel. I rather stay at a Marriott knowing at least the rooms are clean & staff friendly.”

• The rooms were clean and the grounds were pretty.
• It did seem a little run down.

“I would rate this hotel a 3 star, possibly 4. It is a little run down and very dark in the lobby area. The pool area is okay but also run down. There were no chairs to be found at 11:00 AM in the morning and the beach was packed. We are lunch at the outdoor restaurant which took about 2 hours to be served. The service was terrible. We had a problem with the room upon arrival. We requested two double beds and this was not available.”

• Staff was friendly. Outstanding beautiful beaches.
• Food Expensive. Some construction in progress.

“Gardens, pools, beach and rooms well maintained and very clean. Romantic setting.”

• Hospitality, location, cleanliness, overall quality was outstanding.
• The restaurants were a bit pricey.

“A beautiful hotel with 2 huge pools and a hot tub. The lounge chairs were the most comfortable chairs I have ever been on. The food was very good but a bit pricey. The beach area was very nice. The staff was very hospitable. The rooms were exceptional.”
