“Excellent location and very helpful and polite staff! Quiet and clean rooms with great Danube and Parliament views! Very nice art work all around the hotel! Convenient location for the traveler who likes walking but also there are trams passing in front of the hotel and the metro station is within a 5 min walk!”

“Staff was extremely rude, bordering on hostile! Location is beautiful, but you have to pay a premium for a room with a view. But nothing really to do at night. Rooms were clean but cramped. To top it all, they quote you a rate in Euros, and then overcharge you in Forint, as there is no facility to charge you in Euros - "their" exchange rate is HUF 270 to €1, the actual rate is HUF 259 to €1 - completely dishonest. Would not recommend this hotel and it is most certainly not a four star hotel.”

“The Arto'tel is a nice hotel on the buda side of Budapest. It was great for the price we got it for 100 us a night. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. One morning we had breakfast in the hotel because there was nowhere close by for breakfast, but they charged 12 euros a person for breakfast and it was not good. So I would not recommend that. Also, it was not the most conveniently located hotel for going out in the evenings. There were very few restaurants within walking distance of the hotel.”

“The art hotel in Budapest is in a great location whether you are there for business or leisure. It is within short walking distance of shopping as well as historical interest. The restaurants located around it had a variety of food available and were really good and it wasn't horribly expensive to take a cab to when arriving at the train station.”

“Staff was generally rude. The internet prices are outrageous. I stayed at another hotel in Budapest which cost 25% as much and offered free internet. There is free internet in the "business center," but it is a single computer and there's always a line. For the price, there should be free Wi-Fi, or at least cheap Wi-Fi.”

“Great hotel. It is close to Castle Hill and is accessible via Tram and Metro. Right next to the Danube River, so it has great views of the Parliament and the Chain Bridge. The staff is pretty helpful. The only downside is that the hotel does not provide free breakfast and charges 12 euros for its breakfast buffet. Since Budapest is an affordable city, you could grab breakfast for much less.”

“Great find on the Buda side of the Danube. Perfect for sightseeing but you'll want to go out at night as much more affordable dining is available with a short walk.”

“The Art'otel Budapest is located on the peaceful Buda side of the Danube. I requested a quiet room and was given a spacious room overlooking the inner courtyard and the hills of Buda extending up to Fisherman's Bastion and Matyas Church. The view out our large windows (which fully opened to let in a lovely breeze) was breathtaking. The staff was friendly and helpful and our stay was relaxing and memorable. We will choose the Art'otel if we are ever in Budapest again.”

“The Art Hotel is located in a convenient area on the Buda side of the city. Budapest is a city where the public transit is very useful. The hotel is located a few minutes walk from a convenient underground station. The lobby and public areas are beautiful; it is very modern with lots of art around the hotel. I did not see the rooms in the tower but the room that we had the rear area did not seem like a 4 star. It seemed more comparable to a 3 star room. Not to say that we did not like the room. It had ample space, was very clean and cozy with its low slanting ceilings. The rear building, which housed the restaurant, is connect to the lobby in the main building via a glass covered walkway.”

“Excellent location - only 2 metro stops away from the centre square. The staff were excellent - very attentive and never mentioned . The hotel was immaculate - our room was nicely decorated in modern but not overdone style. Our only complaint was that the business centre that was advertised was really only one desk with one computer - so you had to wait for other users to finish with it frequently and since each room was given 30mins free everyday, the wait could be substantial.”

“Beautifully decorated hotel with European flair, staff seems friendly until you start asking silly tourist question, was told to take a city tour and don't be so cheap, asked for an adapter and gotten one that didn't work. Computer was "locked" one morning and staff didn¿t seem to know the pass word and seem annoyed. Two blocks from metro, nice view on the river. Close to most major attraction. Clean and well kept.”

“Clean, spectacular views and convenient to the metro and tram it¿s seemingly out of the way location is no problem if one knows how to utilize Budapest¿s public transport. Decorated tastefully with original art, but nothing spectacular.”

“Art hotel Budapest is a great hotel. It is right along the water near the chain bridge and under the castle, which are both stunning at night. The staff was superb.”
