Cleanliness:[9] • Staff:[9] • Location:[8]

  • Efficient, friendly and flexible service.
  • Pool is a little short for a serious swimmer - but then almost all hotels are the same!

“I arrived early (09:00) and yet they sorted me out with a room immediately. My gold membership gave me an upgrade to have access to the club level which provided a very good breakfast and early evening drinks/snacks. It is very convenient to the heart of the city, 2 minutes walk from the Parliament.”

  • Very nice rooms, clean, attentive staff.
  • Price of parking.

“My only complaint is the price of parking. Other than that it was an ideal hotel.”

“Completely lackluster hotel. The most average hotel stay of my life. Completely forgettable.”

Cleanliness:[7] • Staff:[7] • Location:[6]

  • Good prices on week ends. Nice swimming pool.
  • A bit ex-centered for travelers compared to Downtown Marriott.

“Excellent prices on week ends. Good swimming pool and Jacuzzi (a bit cold). Locking room not too nice/ Not very impressive hotel - average Business hotel. Problems with key.”

Cleanliness:[10] • Staff:[9] • Location:[6]

  • It was very nice, clean, large room, friendly staff.
  • The pool closes early on the weekends.

“This hotel is a little outside the main tourist areas, but if you don't mind walking about 20 minutes, it is a good choice. It was very quiet, which was great, compared to our hotel in Amsterdam the night before.”

Cleanliness:[10] • Staff:[10] • Location:[8]

  • The pool and gymnastic facilities were fantastic, best experienced in a long time.
  • The internet use was 5 Euros for 10 minutes, I thought that was a little steep.

“Beautiful hotel. As students we were very impressed that we got this great of a hotel.”

Cleanliness:[7] • Staff:[9] • Location:[8]

  • Helpful staff and quick service.
  • Heating was excessive.

“The hotel is essentially a business hotel with a good level of facilities and service. The pool is especially good. While the staff were child friendly the restaurant facilities are not. Our stay was marred by the fact that the hotel and particularly our room was uncomfortably warm and the drains were smelly.”

Cleanliness:[10] • Staff:[9] • Location:[7]

  • Comfortable bed and nice shower.
  • Expensive internet.

“This is a very nice hotel. There is good transportation to the center, but it has some benefits of not being directly in the tourist center like a grocery store and less people. The rooms and staff are very nice.”

Cleanliness:[10] • Staff:[8] • Location:[5]

  • Very nice, clean, new luxury comfortable bedding.
  • Fairly far walk from main Blvd and dining.

“Great price for a well-known hotel chain. A fair ways from Main Blvd, sites and dining, but still walk able.”

Cleanliness:[9] • Staff:[10] • Location:[6]

  • Friendly staff, good price.
  • Room is a little outdated and the location is more suited to a business trip.

“A friendly and helpful staff will welcome and take care of you, rooms could see an update and the location is perfect for a business trip to Brussels.”

  • Great.
  • Hotel wasn't sure about what was included in my rate.

“Great hotel with one flaw. I received different answers from three hotel clerks as to what was included in my hotel package. No one seemed to have the same answer.”

Cleanliness:[9] • Staff:[10] • Location:[8]

  • The hotel was very nice, but the staff made the stay exceptional.
  • There was nothing that I did not like about this hotel.

“The staff at the hotel is friendly and welcoming. Guests are greeted at the door and offered sparkling wine or water as they check in. The hotel rooms are typical 4 star European modern. I upgraded to the executive package and was able to include internet, snacks and entry to the lounge. I would stay at this hotel again.”

  • First class business hotel with high level of service.
  • Single traveler put in room with two narrow beds.

“The Renaissance is a first rate business hotel right in the heart of the EU district. It is clearly geared toward business travelers rather than leisure travelers, but that should not prevent the casual traveler from enjoying the hotel. Like many first class chain hotels, the furnishings are nice, staff is professional, and rooms are quiet and comfortable. Everything works. However, it is a chain; the hotel could just as easily be in Frankfurt, London, or even LA. There's nothing wrong with this; but if you want charm, this is not the place. The hotel is ideally located for any business with the EU or its various arms. It's a short walk from the metro. The location is not in the center of things for tourists, but it's not inconvenient either. The one gripe is that they have rooms with two double beds. The double beds are rather narrow for people used to American hotels. The mattress size is closer to a twin than a real double. However, the mattress quality is rather good, and other than being narrow, the beds are comfortable.”

  • Excellent service with a glass of champagne when you arrive!
  • No free Wi-Fi and we got two single beds instead of a queen.

“We were very pleased with our experience at the renaissance Brussels hotel in Brussels. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and we were greeted with a glass of champagne when we arrived. The rooms were spotless and the beds very comfortable, although we ended up with two single beds instead of a queen as requested. Overall though, the price was fantastic for the quality of the hotel. Great location too, in walking distance to city center and other sights.”

“This is a very comfortable property in a good location. Train station is right around the corner making it very easy to get to from airport. It's the place for us to stay in Brussels.”

  • Very clean and friendly bilingual staff.
  • Very difficult to find the street it is located on. Breakfast not included. 25.00 euros each for breakfast.

“I would recommend this hotel at the price. We were very comfortable and it was within walking distance to the grand place and Kings palace.”

Cleanliness:[10] • Staff:[10] • Location:[6]

  • Wonderful staff and lovely room.
  • The location of the hotel was far from the center of the city.

“The renaissance Brussels hotel is a wonderful hotel, probably suited best to business travelers because of its location near the European union. The staff is wonderful and very attentive. The breakfast buffet was above average and the dinner we ate in their restaurant was excellent. The only issue we had was that the hotel is not centrally located and the neighborhood, although fine in the daytime, is deserted at night.”
