“I personally enjoyed the mold. The respiratory problems I encountered were a fair trade for the gorgeous grounds and magnificent food. We ignored the filth, bugs, mold, wet towels, empty refrigerator it didnt work anyway, and the broken AC in the room. The door that didnt lock wasnt a issue either, we just packed up and took our luggage with us each day. The down side to carrying the luggage around was the timeshare people always thought we were just arriving and followed us around constantly. It was inconvenient at the swim up bar also, but after a few days we learned to wrap the luggage in garbage bags and just let them float near us.”

“Stay somewhere else! This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The room had roaches! The locks on the door and sliding glass doors didn't work. They did not clean the sheets, they made the beds with dirty sheets and sometimes no pillow cases. There were no wash cloths. The shower did not work. When I called the front desk for washcloths they hung up on me. It took 2 days to get a broken old hairdryer. The staff was rude, uniforms were always dirty; they looked disheveled and either bored or irritated at all times. The restaurants were dirty, the food was garbage. The dishes, glasses & silverware were dirty. The beach was littered with trash, broken glass, plastic cups at all times. The other guest staying there were drunken teenage boys and girls passed out everywhere or just loud drunk and obnoxious.”

“This place was a dump. Water was dripping from ceilings, the rooms were dirty even after they were cleaned, and the staff was very unhelpful. It was a big deal for them to even get you a bottle of water. The restaurants were not all open when they were scheduled to be, one of our friends slipped down a flight of stairs because of water on them. I was applauded that we made this trip for our family and friends to this particular resort. We have traveled to Cancun over 10 times and have never had an experience like this.”

“I stayed at the Oasis Cancun with my wife and two kids. Being an airline employee I travel a lot and have been everywhere we have been to Cancun 3 times before and stayed at other resorts which were very good. This was the worst place that I ever stayed at the food so bad that we had to go out of the resort to eat, they would not let you check in until after 3 pm. It was so bad that we could not wait to go back home.”

“I don't whine about petty things, I was just there to drink and have a good time on the beach. Let's see where to start. The manager actually got in my face like he was angry and said no one has ever gotten sick from eating meat there. Of course when I tried to contact head office, I got no response. I'm not lying, Ive traveled all over the world and this was bar-none the worst place Ive ever been. The beach was perfect of course; the hotel itself was actually pretty nice despite the construction going on. But overall this place is terrible! Trust me, go somewhere else if youre going to Cancun.”

“We arrived on June 20th 2007 at noon and could not check in until after 3pm, hotel policy, no exceptions. We were given our bracelets so we could eat and drink at the designated places. We have stayed at this resort before, and it has changed. The resort representatives state 90% of there clients are from the USA or Canada, and they cater to this group, but not so. The place has good food, a nice pool area, and a good beach. The place is overrun with teenagers and is not a place for families or people over 45. We met a couple with two teenage sons and they said it was too rowdy for them. The place is slowly moving toward a more upscale cliental by making much of the place available to the the guest only. This is not working because many of the teenagers we met had wrist bands and were just as loud and ill mannered as those in the section. If you are looking for loud noise, screaming teenagers, and slamming doors from midnight to 5 am this is the place. If you like loud drunks, bad behavior, and teens cunning in line all day and night, this is the place. The rules differ depending on who you are and where you are from. We did meet some very nice people, and some staff were very helpful, but the leaking air conditioners, wet rooms, out of order elevators, and loud noise will make us choose another place next time we are in Cancun.”

“The only thing good about this hotel was Taco, Pablo, Ruben and Tree. We had standing water, mold and a hot toilet for most of our trip. It took the management staff several hours to respond to our needs and when they did they acted like it was our fault. ”

“I came to this hotel on May 22. It's time almost 23.00 p.m. The first greeting word from the guest (a boy who has red face because of alcohol) that don't stay here - this place is suck. Overall hotel is okay but some problems. Most of guests here are teenagers and college students. If you want private or family vocation, please don't select this hotel. Most of them were yelling in the night time so I couldn't sleep well. The guest room was suck. On the second days, it had a heavy rain in the night time. I saw many guests cleaned their rooms because of water flooding in their room and hall way. Of course, I need to clean my room too. Water was drop from the ceiling and flooding in my room. The food was nice. There have many restaurants for selection. The staffs were nice too except check-in counter.”
