• clean, good views, comfortable beds and chairs
• the shower leaked a little and the taps were too close to the sink

“The hotel more than lived up to our groups expectations. The staff were friendly and booked taxis and restaurants for us during our stay. The breakfasts were good and offered a full choice of English and Continental. I would stress that if you are plan”

“A lovely hotel. The grounds surrounding the hotel were very impressive. When we drove up the drive it made you feel very grand.
Unfortunately we didn't know there was a wedding on the day we arrived and so couldn't book for an evening meal, but we found ”

• Hotel setting excellent relaxing with good leisure facilities.
• Air conditioning setting in room despite asking for and getting help would not go lower than 26.5.

“My dinner was an expensive disappointing experience. I asked for my steak medium to well earring on well no blood - my plate was flooded with undercooked meat. My partner had medium and it was cooked better. It was taken away and re done by which time the other meal was finished. No apology by the man i/c just that I was wrong - if the waitress had not struggled with understanding this would not occur. At your type of establishment I had expected better - I left my meal - nothing was done - infact the next morning at breakfast the same man was definately off towards me. Access for disabled friend who visited was limited.”

• The staff were so helpful, friendly and polite. They were a credit to the hotel.
• The hotel is set in beautiful grounds with excellent views over the river. An evening cocktail in the library in the evening is a must!

• Fantastic hotel with a georgeous view of the river and lovely grounds.
