• Great location.
• Car parking.

“On checking in we were told there was no room in the hotel car park. Car park opposite the hotel was very busy and very expensive. The room we were given was at the back of the hotel and did not have the partial city view as described. Noise from big air fans or coolers outside our room window was not acceptable so on complaining at reception we were given another room. Very little improvement on the noise level and still no partial city view. There was plenty selection at breakfast which was buffet style. The cooked breakfast was very poor, the usual dreaded fry up of bacon, sausage, egg etc. being kept warm till some poor soul put it on their plate. I prefer my breakfast cooked to order and with a choice of something a little more imaginative. We seemed to be continuously getting up from our table to get things ourselves. On checking out I told reception I had been disturbed all night with the noise from outside our room window and was politely given an apology. My stay in York was lovely but my stay at The Hilton was not what I expected from a four star hotel.”
