  • Cannot pick out only one positive thing to say. Amazing atmosphere, friendly and comfortable.
  • There is no residents bar.

“My best friend has recently had her wedding reception here (after being recommended by my father). All the staff were friendly and very happy to help with pre and post wedding arrangements. The rooms were outstanding in their character and very comfortable. I cannot fault the wedding breakfast and the cooperation of the staff with special dietary needs and catering for children. Over all the bride and groom and all the wedding guests had a wonderful time. Thank you very much!”

  • The friendly atmosphere and desire to accomodate us and our foibles!!
  • I think the breakfast should be included in the price and care should with the refreshments in the room both the cream and the milk were off

“The back gate was locked when we were leaving (by train) so had to walk round and we were staying on the top floor and I had to search round for a light in order to come downstairs . It took me a little while as there was only a lamp behind a railing which took me a while to find the switch. I felt that the staff should enure that the stairs are adequately lit not the guests. We all enjoyed our stay and felt relaxed and very comfortable in the bar area the fire was lovely”
