“The Holiday Inn at Old Sydney was the perfect hotel for me and I stayed at two others while in Sydney. It wasn't massive, it felt small and comfortable and the location could not have been better. Nestled at the end of George Street in what's known as, The Rocks, which is the oldest part of Sydney. It had a better location than the much more expensive Four Seasons and Marriott hotels. The hotel practically sits on Sydney Harbor, right across from the world famous Opera House. The Harbor Bridge in all it's majesty and massiveness is your neighbor. And the views from the rooftop pool and lounge area were amazing. ” 3 of 3 people found this review helpful.

“A great hotel if you want to use it as a base for sightseeing. Very short walk to Circular Quay, and a view of the Opera House is available with a two minute walk! The views from the roof were great as well, though the pool and spa were a bit small.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.

“the hotel is quite nice but it is a three star hotel (not a four star) -- although the location is excellent, and it is a fine hotel, it just does not provide a four star level of accomodation” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.

“Great locations and so many things to do nearby and the night staff is very helpful.”

“This hotel is some 30 minutes walk the centre of the city but if you want to be in the rocks area I would probably recommend it. The rooms are small, outdated and the furnishings felt dirty - although it was probably more to do with them being well worn. Very small bathrooms. The rooftop pool although small is a nice touch.”

“Great for the location. Quality not up to expectations, not a 4 stars as listed.” Amenities at Holiday Inn OLD SYDNEY, Sydney
