Location, amenities, services.
The restaurants were a bit pricey.
“Intercontinental was the ideal location for two senior women. The view out our hotel window was breathtaking. We felt very safe out walking in the area. We made good use of the harbor facilities and restaurants in the area. We thrilled to the excitement of a concert at the Opera House. We made very good use of the Food court in the APM building across the street. I'd go back in an instant.”

It was beautiful. Understated elegance.
All was good.
“From the minute we walked in the door we were treated well. We had just flown in from overseas and arrived 5 hours before check-in. They allowed us to check in early. We slept so soundly and they also gave us a room with the most beautiful view of the harbor and botanical gardens. The king sized bed was luxurious. The black out shades were a great option to drapes. Everything was great.”
