  • hotel was very warm, had trouble opening the window.

  • Clean room, friendly staff.
  • None of the usual freebies. E.g. No soap etc in the room. Food pricey.

  • Modern, airy & very clean
  • There was nothing that we particularly disliked, but if we were to identify two minor points they would be:
    1.The toilet seat was broken
    2.The receptionist was overtly friendly when we booked in

“The Hotel has more than adequate facilities for a short break. It is very clean, modern, easy to locate - central for local attractions, and overall good value for money.

The breakfast was particularly enjoyable!”

  • Friendly staff at reception and restaurant; clean rooms; double glazing kept out road noise; onsite parking with cameras.
  • Alongside busy road; rooms stuffy- due to road noise if windows opened; no other amenities nearby- walkable;

  • I enjoyed the flexible check in time. The hotel and area were quiet. The room was comfortable and warm. It had a playstation which was great!! It made our weekend! I would like to say the the waitress and the chef at breakfast were REALLY nice.

  • Over-all, a really pleasant experience. Good, clean rooms; friendly and efficient staff - excellent value for money.

“The only extra information I wish I had known about was the cost of the car park. This was not prohibitive - but it could have been a factor when choosing the hotel as I believe that the information given only showed that there were car park charges. Oth”

  • Overall hotel is OK

“If you get there late the kitchen wont do hot food despite last orders being 11pm I tried at 10:30 to get a warm meal via room service and all I could get was a sandwich.

Other than that the breakfast was fine and the hotel was clean”

  • It was a very comfortable stay and an excellent price at ?ú49.

“The hotel was very clean and the facilities were excellent. The staff were very friendly and efficient and we would love to come back and stay again. The food was also excellent and i would highly reccomend the hotel to anyone.”

  • Clean Friendly and efficient. All my needs on-site
  • Arrival at about 7pm the car park was full.

“The hotel was convenient for my destination and operated in a friendly and efficient manner. The only down side was the car park that appears to be too small for the number of guests. Arriving at around 7pm the car park was full.”

  • Clean, comfortable with necessary facilities, excellent power shower and the trouser press is excellent
  • Since the installation of Internet access rental the free numbers to ISP's have been disabled, a real issue when, as happened, the service is unavailable!

“Good, the Hotel has good parking, is reasonably priced, reasonable food, the rooms are nice, but, again, barring the ISP / Freephone numbers trying to force me to use the Internet Access (not cheap!) annoys me anyway, but as the Internet Acess was dpwn I had no way of working in my room, a major issue for me!”

  • Modern, clean and tidy rooms. attebtive staffand excellent value for money, added to the overall stay.
  • The only point I thought was unfair was the cost to park a vehicle overnight, especially as a paying guest.

I would have liked to have known what other eating and drinking facilites were in the immeidate vicinity”

  • The staff are friendly and I appreciate it being close to the bus service going into Queensmere Shopping Centre!
  • The soundproofing could be better. I am always woke up by people leaving early in the morning.

“I enjoy the coffee in the morning but they could leave a few more packets of brown sugar. There is nothing I didn't know about this hotel because I have stayed there on many occasions. I just wish that the Hoppa Bus left the airport more frequently than it does. It seems the other Hotels have a bus every 10-15 minutes. Sometimes I have waited for almost an hour.”

  • Clean room, ready when we checked in.
  • See general review below.

“Although the overall experience was excellent, 3 complaints:
1. For a hotel that caters to transient flyers at Heathrow, the included full English Breakfast service didn't begin until 8AM on Sunday, although it starts at 7:30 other days. Given our airline schedule Sunday AM, we were unable to take advantage of the full breakfast. You should start service no later than 7:30 7 days/week.
2. No ability to control room temperature other than by opening window.
3. TV did not receive Sky news, CNN or BBC world. For an airport hotel, this is imiportant to travelers.”
