• The location was good and cost was reasonable relative to other properties in Singapore. Also allowed a 2 PM check out at no added cost.
• View was limited.

“Le Meridian Hotel in Singapore is located on famous Orchard Rd known for It is retail shopping and active nightlife. The staff was helpful and professional. The cost was reasonable relative to other hotels during my stay.”

• A beautiful hotel, centrally located with professional, courteous staff.
• Very few TV channels. No view from balcony.

“The hotel is conveniently located on Orchard Road adjacent to Le Meridien Shopping Plaza. There are numerous other shopping venues and restaurants within walking distance and the hotel is easily accessible by public transportation. The rooms were nicely appointed and the soft down comforters will make you want to stay in bed. The outdoor pool and restaurant are a nice although your only view from the lounge chairs will be of tall buildings surrounding the hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They accommodated our request for early check in and responded to our other requests with prompt and professional attention.”

• Internet connection unnecessarily expensive, no intimate spaces.

• Decent location on Orchard Rd. Large rooms. Good service
• Entrance to main lobby of hotel a little difficult to find as it is raised above Orchard Rd.

“Good place. Within two blocks of MRT, shopping is in walking distance. Hotel rooms were of good size. Service was also great.”

• NOT 4 Star. Sticky carpet & terrible service.

• In general, the hotel was pleasant. Excellent fitness facility. Decent restaurant.
• Room stank of smoke.

“This property is conveniently located on Orchard Road near the heart of Singapore's shopping district. Within walking distance of substantial amounts of retail. Short cab ride to Chinatown and Little India. This property falls short of 4-star standards as compared to similar hotels in the US and other locales, although it has a decent restaurant and other amenities. This is not an exceptional hotel, but it is a decent one.”

• Overall, service was good and people were friendly.
• The way we were treated when our hot water was not working properly.

“Our hot water did not work and it was 1:00am. We had just come from a 6 hour flight and just wanted a place to sleep and a hot shower. When it was not working, I called maintenance and after 30 minutes, they came up but were unable to fix it till the morning.”
