• Excellent location, relatively not too expensive for the area, nice breakfast.
• Room was too small, no air conditioning shut down for the season in October and it was hot, hot and humid!

“The location was excellent, close to the main train terminal, to the center of the city and too many nice restaurants. The room was too small to be called a 4 star hotel. The staff said the A/c was shut down for the season (we check in on 10/29). The room had little ventilation except one window to the center of the building. The room was hot and humid for the entire 4 day stay. We could not take shower or sleep at night without opening the door, which I did not feel safe to do, but had no choice. The staff was not bending backward to please American tourists, while they were not nasty.”

• Clean, safe and friendly, CD player in room and TV in bathroom.
• Hotel was not in "the center" requiring cab/bus each time in / out unless walking/taking tour bus.

“I would stay there again or recommend it. Very nice people that spoke English at the desk and provided service, maps, direction which was very helpful!”

• The spacious rooms, nice bathroom, coffee-tea facilities in the room and the breakfast and staff.
• The location is good and bad. If you turn right from the hotel and walk you get to fight with pickpockets. Always turn left and walk then.

“The hotel was very comfortable with all services and room especially. Once you are in the hotel, you start feeling good. I would question the location a bit. It is very nearby station termini and therefore the public transports. It is conveniently located to many major monuments if you like walking. Nevertheless, the right side of the hotel is the termini location and you risk being robbed seriously. Beware. Always take the left direction to start walking from the hotel and the security level increases dramatically. There are very nice restaurants also nearby. The hotel is easy to locate and close to main streets. We do recommend this hotel highly.”

• Very nice hotel, well located and comfortable rooms.
• Lobby area is a bit seventies like and front desk not the most friendly.

“Very well located, with very comfortable room but the lobby area could be more current (70's) and the front desk was not as friendly as they could have been.”

• The rooms were very nice.
• The lobby and hallways need some updating.

• Truffles left every day on the bed.
• Broken elevators.

“Staff was friendly, although one gentle men's who worked at the front desk recommendations for a dinner place not only gave the wrong address, but the price for dinner $500 way out of our league. Two out of 3 elevators were sometimes not working. One was completely under construction. The first room shown to us was too small for a 4 star. The second room shown was better, but still on the smaller size nicely decorated in pale yellows. Fridge in room, Internet access in room if you bring a laptop otherwise Internet access not available at hotel, comfortable bed, tub or shower not whirlpool which would help on aching tourist feet, and small table which was a plus if you decided to bring something back to eat. Overall experience good + -if you ignore the elevator construction noise and inconvenience.”
