“This is a very good basic hotel. The room was small but clean. A wardrobe was provided for hanging clothing but they did not provide enough hangers to hang clothes and there were no drawers. The floors are tiled with marble but we did not notice any noise issue. The biggest issue was there was no shelf for soap or shampoo so showering is difficult. The water was hot and the pressure was good. Towels were interesting - the large bath sheet was nice but no wash cloths or face towels were provided - rather something that resembled very nice dishtowels. We did have a refrigerator, it leaked but it worked. The TV worked well and did have 1 or 2 English channels depending on the time of day - however, it was on the same circuit as the overhead light so it was necessary to leave the lights on to watch TV. Hairdryer provided - The staff was very friendly and provided much needed bus info. It only took us about 20 minutes to reach downtown by bus - a bit more if you wanted to connect to the metro. Staff spoke English, French and Italian. We had no problem with valuables in our room but then again, we were not stupid and did not leave anything laying out to be stolen. We used the in room safe without problem. The neighborhood is safe but there are few sidewalks. We used the ATM machine located across the street at the Crowne Plaza at the suggestion of the hotel staff.”

“The information provided re location was very misleading, to say the least. It took between 45 minutes and one hour by bus and subway to reach any of the important sights in Rome. The room was too small to even lay out a suitcase. We had a hole in our bed sheets.”

“This hotel was cheap by Rome standards and now I know why! It had tiny, tiny rooms which catered to many American students. The air conditioning didn't work, the walls were paper-thin with air vents into the hallway so we could everyone else in the place. We were surrounded with noisy American students all the time. No screens on the windows so to let enough air in to breathe, we traded hundreds of mosquito bites! I would never want to stay here again.”

“My wife and I did not enjoy our stay at this hotel. The staff was not friendly. The room was small. There were mosquitoes and the staff did not try to keep the doors to the lobby shut at night. There is no swimming pool. The rooms are in separate buildings. The TV was very small and very soft. The room floor covering was tile. I requested a wake-up call and never received it. Admittedly, this hotel was the least expensive on the list of hotels.”

“The lobby looks great. The coffee bar was good and restaurant was okay. A lot of bus travelers here. The rooms are very small, but clean. No elevators and I was on the 4th floor. No air conditioning, but a fan. It did have a re fridge The upscale hotel near the area was 450.00 US compared to my 150.00. They did not have a fridge. The tour bus did pick me up and drop me off at my hotel along with the other more upscale pricier hotels. Not romantic at all. Reminds me of a 1950's US hotel.”
