The Hotel Plaza del Angel has opened up in the very heart of Salamanca, just a stone's throw from the Plaza Mayor, the main square. The building is made of stone from Villamayor, an easy-to-carve stone typical of the Salamanca quarry, which takes on a golden colour after exposure to the sunrays.

The hotel's owners, Carlos Ramos and Maria Ruiperez, have wanted to create a hotel along very simple unpretentious lines but without forgetting the tiniest detail to ensure their guests enjoy their stay as if they were in their own homes.
