This well presented hotel is conveniently placed for Reading centre yet situated in a quiet residential area. Spacious bedrooms (including four in a separate building) are well appointed and thoughtfully equipped. Public areas include a cosy bar and dining room. The weekends of the 'Womad & Reading Rock Festivals' are being shown as closed out, but please call to the hotel direct as we prefer to take bookings for these specific weekends ourselves, telephonically or via fax.[less]

friendly welcome, keen to please, breakfast was good, very clean and spaceous room
dinner menu was limited

“probably would have eaten in reading had i known the limitations around dinner, staff were very kind and helpful, professional.”

Excellent reception on arrival, excellant food very tasty, very comfortable surroundings

“I found this a very friendly hotel and I felt comfortable and safe (as a woman travelling alone), the food was very good and I enjoyed my overall experiance at the hotel”
