• Somewhat run down and disappointing in quality

“This is a rather run-down, basic hotel, with a busy road on one side and a busy railway on the other. But it is cheap.”

• Compared with other hotels inthe area was reasonably inexpensive
• Room was not very sound proof and lots of noise coming from adjacent rooms

“In general the hotel was clean but little things like noisy doors could be addressed be your maintenance man spaying all hinges with W.D 40 There was a party of young men staying who where on a course I found that becauce of the poor sound proof quality of the room it was a bit noisy. I did stay at this hotel last year and did not have a noise problem so I assume I picked the wrong week.”

“Convenient overnight stay. Rooms can be dark, some noise from trains and no atmosphere. Overall OK value”

• The accomodation was quite accepatable for a brief overnight stop. The room was comfortable and had all the aminities I needed.
• The room was near to the main road, which could have been noisey

• Friendlyness of the staff.

“I booked for the hotel in reading town centre, but ended up staying in the south of reading, mt boss was not a happy bunny”
