• Proximity to the stadium. Very clean.
• Veiw from the room, but hey, that's Reading for you.

• I stayed in a Club Exec Room which had access to the Club lounge with complimentary continental breakfast, free soft drinks, fruit and wine in the evening.
• The whirlpool is currently being modernised so was not available during my stay which was disappointing.

“I have stayed at this hotel before and previously had an inside facing room which was very noisy with the bar being in the central atrium and the noise carried.”

• Nice and roomy.
• Room aircon/heating didn't function

“The main bar area and social space is very cold and has no atmosphere - may be worth looking at the decor and colour choices to make it more inviting.”

• very clean and tidy. And television greeting was impressive.
• Very handy in location to the function we were attending.

“Would have liked a double room but unfortunately had to settle for a twin due to lack of availability.”

• Overall all the hotel was gorgeous...the staff were helpful and services excellent.
• The rooms facing the bar should have blinds to block out the lights from the bar. Also a radio in the rooms wouldn't go amiss.

“We did have some problems with a booking....Mr Cole was staying on 26th and spent 30mins trying to allocate the booking. The next day the rest of our group arrived and the booking was smooth running until a booking that should have been a twin room was booked for Miss Keen turned out to be a double room and because of the lack of time on our side we didnt have time to change rooms. Other than that the stay was pleasurable.”

• accomadation excellent. A great variety of menu for Breakfast.

“As previous guests ,the hotel gives a good review on the website.
Information saying that it is nearthe University and the shopping centre is ideal. There is no need to go into London,all facialities at your door.”

• restaurant fully booked with a coach party

“I would have liked to have known that a meal was not available as we had to take a taxi in to the town which was added expense”
