“We were given the corporate rate for our business trip even though we arrived on a Friday. They normally only do it for weekend nights. The staff was very helpful with directions, taxis, water, rooms, everything. The view is incredible! Beautiful swimming pool, although I thought it was too chill to swim. The breakfast is out of this world. The lounge serves delicious traditional dishes as well as other types in the restaurant where breakfast is served - this place has a view all the way around and is fantastic. We enjoyed our stay. Had free wireless also. Good hot showers.”

“This hotel is awful. Staff is rude, arrogant and uppity. Their service problems are so deep; it is unreachable through training seminars. The hotel has its good points: nice lobby, beautiful formal arrangements in atrium, wonderful breakfast with a nice view, when it is not fogged in. Does not make up for the shabbiness of the room and hall, strange smells, poor service, bad lighting in the room and second rate bathrooms that do not drain. There is a techno disco in the building that is suppose to be cool and is just sad. Did not have security problems but met a couple whose room was robbed.”

“The view is incredible and it is in a very safe and clean area of town. The rooms were very clean and the facilities, which included a pool and spa, where well kept. The hotel was very nice and comfortable and had a fairly reliable wireless internet connection for a minimal fee. The restaurant has a superior view of the entire Quito area. Overall, I though our stay there was an excellent value.” 0 of 1 people found this review helpful.

“This hotel should be closed. We booked it from the U.S. Upon arrival, there was no record of the reservation. The check-in clerk refused to take the voucher. They tried to charge us twice. Burned out light bulbs in rooms, shower that would not drain. The famed view from the balcony was a joke. The balcony door was bolted shut. The hotel overcharged us at the breakfast. Upon a call from our travel agent, they admitted their mistake, then refused to refund the money. Erwin Dominguez is the clerk who cheated us. Jesus Sanchez is the hotel manager who refused to correct the error.” 3 of 3 people found this review helpful.Amenities at Hotel Quito, Quito
