“There is nothing wrong with this hotel. The location is great, the food is very good, the staff is all polite, it's not really noisy, it's clean. It may not be the fanciest place in town, but if you're an ordinary person who usually stays in Travelodge or Ramada in the states then you won't mind this place at all. Make sure you check out the fabulous dancers who perform several times on the stage in the evening.”

“I would not stay at this hotel again. You were supposed to receive one bottle of water per room when you arrived and had to refill it at the bar or the restaurant. Sometimes you didn't get this bottle (friend's of ours didn't) and you were then told to go to the store down the street and buy water. The bar closed at 11:00 pm - not a problem except that they actually stayed open until 1:00 but you had to buy your drinks. Their wine was pretty much undrinkable - tasted like it was just bottled and not aged. We took this as a Transit vacation - Hotel book mentioned all ocean view rooms have balconies - they do not. It also says all rooms have clock radios and hair dryers - they do not. I love Puerto Vallarta and will definitely go back there but never again to this hotel and I am telling everyone I can about this place.”

“Stains on the bedding, concrete bed frames (my boyfriend and I had 2 single beds), no hot water, AC was broken, no clock, no beach, small pool, one restaurant which served noodles with hotdog bits tossed in it for dinner, 2 towels, toilet in the shower, no fresh fruit for the cocktails. I cried, went to bed wearing my clothes and left 1st thing in the morning. It was basically the equivalent to low income housing. Absolute disappointment!”

“The restaurant staff and porters were fabulous, however; the noise level all day and night was unbearable. There was no attempt from staff to stop the partiers from going all night thus allowing other guest to enjoy themselves. The hotel was geared for spring break student parties with no consideration for other guests which made up more than 50% of the guest population. As this is my only and last experience with this hotel, I can't speak on how they are out side of "spring break". I did find out that it is a known fact to travel agents that this hotel caters to the party scene, so we will need to deal with that issue back here at home. It is not a place I will recommend to friends/family to use.”

“My husband and I stayed at Las Palmas by the Sea when we went to Puerto Vallarta for our honeymoon. The resort is not the most luxurious you will find in Puerto Vallarta, but the people who work there are the most friendly people we found. They work very hard to insure that your stay with them is perfect. Every meal has plenty of options for everyone, the drinks are great, and the nightly shows are always entertaining. Las Palmas by the Sea also sits on the best strip of beach on Puerto Vallarta. We visited a few other resorts when we were on excursions and we commented many times that the beach at Las Palmas was the best that we had seen. The only negative comment I have about the resort is the bed and pillows, which are very hard. We did ask for different pillows and they were right there with new ones to try to make us more comfortable. If you want friendly faces and service, this is the resort to go to! Oh and reserve a spot it in the grill at least one dinner there, you will not be disappointed!”

“Rude, lazy staff. Little or no help. Took 2 days to get to talk to manager. Poor, tasteless food, cheap booze.”

“Staff was rude & noise was never ending. Catering to spring breakers & no regard for any other customers. We asked to change rooms, but had to pay an extra $20.00/night to get some sleep. We would never go back to lass Palmas because of the lack of customer's concerns. The police were called one night at about 4:00 am. But this did nothing to stop the noise the following nights. Food was good. He walking down the beach, you could hear the noise (pounding music & screaming kids) from miles away. All other resorts seemed to enjoy quiet afternoons & evenings, but that was not the case at lass Palmas. I hope to discourage other travelers to perhaps pay a bit more, and get a nice, quiet resort, with staff that are there to make sure that your vacation is an enjoyable one!” Amenities at Las Palmas by The Sea, Puerto Vallarta
