• Nothing.

“We went 1st week of spring break. We loved it! So different than the huge, all-inclusive resorts. Here we were treated almost like family. Staff was very friendly, catered to every need and whim. Very small, quiet and quaint hotel in the mountains (could almost see gorillas in the mist). Short walk to Barceló¿s beach in a scenic bay with lots of boats. A nice walk through village up to tequila factory. Continue 10 min. Walk on dirt road to Puerto Vallarta zoo which was very good with an interactive approach to several animals. Handy supermarket for all necessities attached to hotel. Very relaxing.”

• I loved the setting, the amenities, and the fact that everything I needed was there - room, pool, restaurant, convenience store, public transportation.
• Screaming children waking me up before I wanted to get up.

“The casa iguana is a wonderful, slightly out of the way 2-3 bedroom casita-style establishment in misemploy. I like misemploy because it is away from the crowds and noise of the romantic or central zones of Puerto Vallarta. The hotel has everything one might need -- a small kitchen, pool, Jacuzzi, restaurant, convenience store, access to public transportation, and the staff are wonderful. I have stayed there for 2 years in a row, and would definitely return, but would probably go during a non-school vacation time to avoid the screaming children first thing in the morning.”
