• Location is great and the oceanfront rooms are phenomenal.
• The staff did not address problems very well.

“The location of this hotel is its greatest appeal. You are in downtown Playa del Carmen and you will enjoy walking the streets at night. The beach area is smallish, but very nice. I stayed in the original part of the hotel, and I was glad we asked for an oceanfront upgrade. The room was enormous, plush, and wonderful. I felt that I was in another world. On the negative side, this hotel has a history of overbooking and the staff is none too helpful when this occurs. I watched some very unhappy people be treated less than cooperatively. I think the problem was during the construction of the new section of the hotel. My wife and I went for a romantic get away. Great fun.”
