“We just visit the stag head bar. Wonderful! They had a "12 pointer" on the wall over the log fire. The staff is always friendly. The hotel usually has a function on over the weekend. One time there was a wedding and a vintage car rally on at the same time. Bar meals are served up to 21:00. And there¿s a selection of beers, wines - and malts, as you¿d expect you must try derider from one of the local distilleries. They make the malts for the house of lords. The location is just stunning. If you go to pitlochry, you must see this place - it¿s built like a palace. The real advantage is there¿s a mainline railway station from which direct trains go north to Inverness and south to king cross London. There s "hunting shooting and fishing¿ here. Then there¿s the queens view on loch tummel.”
