“Overall room met our needs. Bathroom needs updating. Water temperature changed from hot to cold, to very hot. Not a consistent temperature. Only one pillow per guest was provided, would have preferred two like in other hotels. Staff was polite and helpful.”

“I was disappointed with this hotel. It did not meet my expectations for the star level. The location was far from all the attractions and clearly on the very edge of the priceline map of the area. I immediately made arrangements to stay at another hotel. The wall of my room had a hole in it, the telephone and air conditioning did not work, and the carpeting was dated.”

“This hotel is not awfully far from the train station, although I wouldn't recommend walking. It is also a bit far for walking to the sights in Florence, but we did it twice a day. It is in, I believe, a safe area near many consulates, but not a charming area. The room was very comfortable, albeit a little dated, with a large bed, and the bathroom was updated and very nice. The staff was very helpful. The only time we ate at the restaurant was for breakfast, which is included and pretty good - with scrambled eggs and bacon along with the typical Euro fare.”

“Hotel was not bad restaurants were very pricey but in a good location. The shower could not be regulated so children could not shower alone and adults had to be careful.”

“Very convenient location, 2 Metro stops from Arc de Triomphe, 15 minute walk. Rooms were tiny, water &
AC temperature, irregular. Typical business high rise hotel next to conference center. If it was
your first time in Paris, spend the extra cash to stay at a cozier place.”

“Room was small (or maybe all rooms in Paris are that small?) Carpet was dirty. Did
I say:
TV didn't work one night and couldn't be shut off the other night? Also, the bathroom light was broken one night prob due the construction in the upper unit so they prob cut the line?”

“The room was in need of renovation, (the vanity was falling apart as well as many of the furnishings in the room). Heavy cigarette smell.”

“Lobby was under renovation, hallways on our floor were in need of replacement, our floor was due for a renovation and we could see that was happening on other floors.”

“It was so disappointing. We asked for ice and they wanted to charge us 5 euros for it. It was old and dirty. Rooms were filthy. Our floor had mirrors and dark blue paint on the walls. So outdated. There was construction downstairs. Couldn't take a shower properly as the water went from extreme cold to burning hot.”

“My fiance and I spent 4 nights over New Year's Eve at the Hotel Concorde LaFayette Paris. The location is great in terms of access to the Metro, which can be entered through the attached Shopping Center. Also, there are a multitude of convenient cafes, shops, pharmacies, etc. within a few steps in any direction. Our room was newly renovated and was chic, modern and comfortable. Although we were told that all view rooms were full (and there was an additional charge - I think 25 Euro per night - for a view room). We had a huge window that overlooked a gorgeous view of Paris; apparently, it doesn't count as a view room if you don't face the recognizable monuments! The Bar Panoramique near the top of the hotel has a breathtaking view - but the price of a drink there will also knock the wind out of you! The true negatives were: surly and rude concierge staff and no ice machines. We were forced to call room service for every bucket of ice, a 5 Euro surcharge for each visit - irritating. Also odd was the fact that you were expected to take your clothing up to the 25th floor to an ironing room to iron your own garment, as they would not allow an iron in your room for safety reasons. Positives: Free wireless internet in the room - big bonus! Also, Luxurious Annick Goutal bath products in the room. All in all, I would stay there again and thought it was above average by Parisian standards.”
