“I have been here before. The room was comfortable. A bit on the costly side for value given. Hotel location is an easy walk to shopping and waterfront sights. Mid-week rooms were actually quiet.”

“The breakfast was not included and cost l15.75 each. We chose to walk around the corner to purchase breakfast and lunch food at Sainsburys for l11.00. Street was a bit noisy, but not bad. Rooms were pleasant enough.”

“Rooms at front of hotel have much better views. Request a room on high floors away from lifts, preferably overlooking the Hoe. friendly staff and a good self service breakfast in the top floor restaurant with fantastic views of Plymouth Sound. Although ”

“Overall our stay was pleasant. The poor standard of our accomodation was made up for by the pleasantness of all your staff. It was obvious that a lot of refurbishment work was beeing caried out. I wish that we had been informed of this and would have booked an alternative room at your hotel. We will be returning to Plymouth in the very near future and hope to re-book at your hotel.”

“The downstairs bar, was cold and draughty, and the TV was loud and in control of the bar staff, who seemed to want to watch the soaps - not what I went away for.

“how big the bathroom would be; whether there would be a shower and/or bath; whether my room would be non-smoking (requested but not guaranteed); whether the vegetarian options would be sufficient (they were not - people used same implements to pick up meat and non-meat brekfast items, which meant that I was restricted in what I could eat); would have prefered to have individual toilet brushes in each room!! Does not cost much and is more hygienic than carying one persons' toilet germs around the hotel, in lifts and along corridors”

“The hotel was OK, but the rooms were in need of redecorating, but I only paid 68GBP for B&B per night so I thought that was good value, however if I had paid the full rate I probably would have left after the first night, no way was the room worth 100+GBP/night”
