On the streets of the Gulf region, visitors are often invited to sit and talk, sipping on scalding mint tea. The Chedi Muscat, while part of that open tradition, introduces a new concept, surpassing old molds and forming the bedrock of a fresh hotel movement on the Arabian peninsula. Established around original Omani structures and architectural designs, the hotel reflects a modern view of Eastern opulence. Understated and sleek, the emphasis is on exclusive sophistication; a theme that is consistent throughout the Chedi Muscat's 161 rooms and suites. Lithe mahogany furnishings, light, natural colors, water gardens and wide vistas of the Gulf of Oman collude to calm the fire of the desert sun. Immaculate, warmly smiling service goes without saying, and constitutes not just a part of your stay at The Chedi Muscat, but an integral ingredient in the Omani experience.[less]
