• Great food and location.
• No roof on shower room or bathroom.

“Have stayed at over 20 hotels in Negril over the years. Rock House if you can afford it is one of the nicest especially on west End. Had a deluxe villa, but was surprised that the bath room and shower did not have an enclosed roof on. If you had to use the bathroom at night you got bitten up badly. Other than that we loved the place.”

• Fantastic, Romantic Getaway.
• No beach.

“This is one of my favorite hotels- bar none. Thatched roof bungalows up on a cliff that overlook the Caribbean Sea. Down below, you have access to the water via a ladder- and access to some of the best snorkeling- and some caves as well. The restaurant on site is wonderful. The resort is only a few steps away from 'Ricks' the bar with the rope swing. The rooms are quite comfortable as well. Just be prepared for a lot of mosquito's attacking you at night! This is a super cool spot away from the mess of the all inclusive and may be for the more adventurous of spirits. The only downside is no sandy beach! PS- I highly recommend a side trip to Mayfield Falls. It's a succession of 21 natural pools and waterfalls- not to be missed.”

• Sounds nice in their marketing.
• Appalling staff.

“Didn't actually get to stay at the place. Reserved a room and a day later was told that none were available. Instead was offered a villa at over 4 times the price. Entered into a long argument about this, they said it was my fault for not giving a credit card number. This request was hidden in the middle of a sentence in an over 1000 word email. The staff accept no responsibility for this. Two members of staff involved themselves. I am left with a bad taste in my mouth about this place, but of course ONLY THE STAFF. My advice to others is there are plenty of other places around the area. Stay at them! (I also have a suspicion that they were trying to sell more expensive options). ”
