• The location is great, and the food is fine.
• Very old hotel, not what you would expect from a RIU place.

“We stayed at the RIU Palace next to the Atlantis, the location is great, the ocean beautiful and warm, but our hotel was awful. The old RIU was not what the reservation lady told us, they are going to completely redo the RIU in August. So if you have reservations, do not go until they finish, the restaurants are fine. They do not have but three, and sometimes they are closed. The staff is friendly but lazy. The Rooms are awful, they are old, and the air condition sometimes don't work. But, the location is great, and the Atlantis is next door. I would just wait until they finish the remodeling then go back, but if you go you will be disappointed. Not worth the money until they get it finished. I am just telling the truth, not sugar coating it.”
