“The staff was very cunning and pretty much follow you every footstep. If you are just there to look and not spending money, they will harass you. I heard about how a employee of BET went there with his mother and was harassed and threatened by the security staff in the hotel because they were enjoying the scenery and the hotel, and decided to stay up all night for a few days straight.”

“I've been to many resorts in Cuba, Domenican Republic, St. Maarten, Mexico. Yes, this is more expensive than the other 5 star hotels. The Atlantis is absolutely beautiful in every which way. The food, yes it's expensive but no complaints otherwise. And if you go to any 5 star restaurants in any city, you will pay for what you get. The resort is clean, the staff is courteous and the place truly is Paradise. My husband and I plan to return again and again.”

“Decent hotel and water attractions Unfortunately it feels like a huge tourist trap once inside. Food is bad and well over priced. I don't mind paying a lot for good food but hate paying lot for bad food. I even got food poisoning and lost weight for the first time on vacation. Somewhat thankful for that since I wanted to lose a little weight. Employees are not that friendly and service is very slow. It is also nearly impossible to leave Paradise Island to visit Nassau without taking the taxi. A three mile taxi ride will cost $15 to $17. Taxi drivers seem to have their own rates. I prefer Jamaica over the Bahamas any day.”
