“I arrived at 11:30 am (check in was not until 3:00 pm) I had a turbulent 3 hour flight and was feeling very ill. The staff at the front desk said they could not get me checked in early, but when I took my luggage over to the concierge desk - heard my complain and so did a female manager. She picked up the phone made a call and said let me see what I can do. Within 20 minutes, one of the other managers came with my room key and said my luggage was already in my room! They upgraded my room from queen to king size, from city view to ocean view and placed me in a newly renovated 5th floor! Exceeding my expectation! Thank you for making my vacation perfect!”

“We stayed on the street side which was very noisy until 3:00 am. The food is okay, however overpriced. The hotel needs a lot of help. You would think maybe a hot tub since some days may not get into the 70's. Taxi travel is very expensive $70 USD round trip to airport. For this kind of money you can do better.”

“Nice hotel, good location to Bay Street and shopping and also to the US Embassy. The pool and beach were nice and the view overlooking the cruise ships was nice. Also close to Paradise Island our next destination.”

“My husband and I have stayed here many times. We are always satisfied. It is upscale in a relaxed atmosphere, but not the run-of-the-mill party venue, which is one of the many reasons we like it. The location for walking Bay Street is excellent. Be sure to request a harbor side room. The only thing missing is that the rooms do not have individual balconies.”

“The Hilton is not to be considered a resort but nevertheless a great place to stay while in Nassau. Nice quiet beach and pool (despite the cruise ships) with ample room for Hilton guests. Great food, friendly staff. Close to everything. A bit pricey but not out of line with everything else in Nassau. Our room was excellent but the housekeeping seemed inconsistent from day to day. I would absolutely recommend this hotel.”

“Overall we had a very pleasant stay. We had dinner and gave a $9 tip and then with the final bill noticed a 15% service charge of $7 had already been applied. Everyone (staff) was very friendly and helpful. The same with our maid.”

“Overall it was a nice hotel, but not even as close to as nice as the Atlantis in which you gave the same amount of stars. Food services were great, but expensive. Hotel service was very excellent, carpet in the room was nasty, and the room itself was only as big as the bathroom. We enjoyed our stay, and would stay at this hotel again in the future.”

“This hotel is not a resort and does not have access to Atlantis aquarium or water activities (Paradise Island), but it does have a nice small beach. The rooms are not that large in size but are comfortable with a nice bathroom. Restaurant is fairly priced with good food and all the staff was nice and helpful.”

“On other hotel stays through, I never felt like I was given different treatment than had I been a normal customer, but this hotel definitely gave us the smallest room with the worst location and view. The hallway to our room was often filled with boxes that made it hard to pass and it made me feel like I was the one in the way. Customer service was unresponsive and sent us on a run around. Overall I was dissatisfied because I did not feel like a valued guest.”

“LOVE IT! We spent 1/2 our trip at Atlantis (overrated) and 1/2 at the Hilton. It is a small resort in a great location for shopping. The staff is friendly. Upgrade to the rooms that include club access (only 30/day more for us) it includes breakfast, club access, nightly appetizers and ALL THE ALCOHOL YOU CAN DRINK FOR FREE! Trust me, it is a good deal. The pool is small, the rooms are small and the beach is small. This is an old hotel that was remodeled by Hilton so the rooms are small but bright. This is probably not an ideal resort for kids (I didn't see kids clubs/etc) but for couples, etc looking for a place to relax right in the heart of shopping/activities/restaurants this is perfect!”

“The hotel is in a prime location. The buffet at the hotels restaurant was nice. We didn't feel it was very romantic - we somehow got booked for twin beds, ended up with a full size. We are both 6ft tall so our feet hung off and the bed was as hard as a rock. Definitely not conducive to romance! There were no lovely balconies and our view was of McDonald's across the street. A paper plate was floating in the ocean where we swam and a rodent crossed our path the first night by the pool.”

“Small pool and beach area. Food in restaurant was poor. Room was not ready when promised, attempted to first put us in a room with 2 dbl beds, we requested KS non smoking, "Patrice" said she could accommodate request then proceeded to give us a QS room. Yes we got a great rate, but our recent experience indicates hotels treat us like dirt because of the rate we receive. The Four star rating is not appropriate for this hotel. I would of went to plan B if I could not secure a 4 star hotel in Nassau. The booking in MIA at the Hard Rock wanted to kick us out before our stay ended, the hotel in BNA originally put us in the basement next to the hotels laundry facility and the room problems in Nassau.”

“Mold in bathroom, overall cleanliness was poor, lunch buffet was awful. Desk staff was not friendly and would not fill our room request. I had to go to manager. Small pool and beach. Definitely not a four star hotel.”

“We stayed at Atlantis the first two nights of our trip, then on a bare boat, then back to the Hilton. Atlantis & cruising are tough acts to follow, but I thought the Hilton was clean, well appointed, and in the future I would stay there over Atlantis based on the price.”

“Great for business travelers. Horrible for a romantic getaway. Terrible pool and beach. Good location if you want to access the shopping area of Nassau. Overall, Nassau is an overpriced, dirty island with locals that are rude and have no respect for tourists. The Hilton is nice but I personally will never be visiting that island ever again.”
