• Price suited budget.
• Needs updating.

“Could help guests by signposting - nothing on nearby roundabout of hotel so wasted time going round in circles. Given wrong room (smoking). Showers in leisure facilities had mildew and ceiling in pool area covered in brown stains. Good breakfast. Overall very tired and needs updating.”

• Poor bathrooms, rubbish towels and tired decor.

“I've stayed here regularly with two children, in fact we've stayed at just about every hotel in Norwich over the past 4 years. The Quality certainly doesn't live up to its name on occasions, tired decor being the key culprit. That said, we use inter-connecting rooms to stay in and the space this gives is great. The room facilities are fine, TVs that work, Sky, films, okay bathrooms and the breakfast they serve is good and varied and allows plenty of choice. If staying in a family room then it stretches the definition a bit. Basically it's a couple of extra Z beds in the room and the quality of the bedding used for these was way below the standard expected, you could have sanded down the doors with the blankets they were so rough. I did complain about this last year so they may have improved them, but as I've opted for the adjoining rooms since, I couldn't be sure. Leisure facilities are okay, pool is good for children as well as adults. Rooms tend to be fairly quiet at night as well. Staff are friendly enough, good guy at the bar, always helpful and friendly. Reception are efficient.”

• Accommodation is very tired looking, has seen much better days. We did not even have chairs to sit on although supplied with a coffee table.

“The reception, bars, restaurant (we had breakfast each day which was excellent) & sports facilities were all of a good standard and the staff were all friendly & helpful. The accommodation was the part which let the hotel down as it is very tired looking ”

“We hadn't stayed at a Quality Hotel before now. We expected rather more from accommodation of this type. It was adequate, but little more than that.”

• Mainly the price, what a bargain! I booked about 14:30 on the net not thinking we'd find anywhere(Norwich city playing at home!). It was really easy and when we arrived a few hours later the keys were ready. Very well organised, pleasant staff.
• Refurbishment under way, didn't bother us much but still not nice to see.
