• good size room, hotel has character, lovely setting.
• poor television reception - no ariel, lack of staff may be due to visit off-peak.

“I read all the reviews before booking so knew what to expect. Despite the draw-backs this is a charming building in a lovely rural setting. I think the hotelier should read the reviews and correct the minor faults where possible. However I do feel it was paying the bit extra to stay at this hotel rather than a run of the mill B&B in the town centre. The lack of service didn't affect us as a family with a young child but it could dissapoint others.”

“A nice hotel. It was a friendly and family run business with a welcoming feel. It was fairly central to picturesque Norfolk. The proprietor was friendly, helpful and informative.”

• Comfortable and good size bedroom. Clean and quiet hotel
• Breakfast choice limited to one cereal or cooked. Cooked breakfast was fried not grilled
