• English speaking, large rooms for euro standards reasonably priced.
• 10 minute walk to North through TGV station to get to anything.

“Lyon could be a 4-5 star city if people wouldn't defecate in the street. The hotel is nice enough to make you stop questioning why you came to Lyon. Roman ruins a must see.”

• Location to the perrace metro.
• Too noisy.

“They gave us a room, facing the main street, which is very busy during the day, with allot of noise. The bathroom was separate from the water closet, which had no ventilation. We took a walk in the opposite direction from the metro, which did not appear to be very safe in the evening. It was very convenient to the metro Perrache, but a distance from Pare Dieu, which is the main train station from Paris to Lyon. Be prepared to do allot of walking to the better restaurants, which made it worth while. All in all, I would say that the hotel is a two star and the staff behind the desk, where not what you would call, friendly, they appeared to be just a bit impatient.”

• generally clean, comfortable rooms
• cramped parking, small toilet, back building isn't as nice

“The bathroom and toilets are separate. The toilet is so small that a normal person hits their knees when sitting down. No faucet in the toilet, so you have to do your business, cross the room, go into the bathroom and wash your hands, which is a huge turnoff.”
