Historic building, redesigned in modern style, scenic location, fluffy comforters comfy bed, gracious staff, free drinks/ welcome basket (restaurant was closed due to construction)
....nothing.

“We were two travelling families with 4 boys. We had stayed at the St Antonerhof, st anton, The Romanitc Stern, Chur, The Regina, Wengen. Upon arrival the other family exclaimed the Des Balance the very best! Thank you for making me look like a hero as this hotel was my choice! The hotel was easy access to train and pedestrian way, had comfortable bedding, roomy rooms, spify modern bathrooms. The welcome fruit basket and the free drink was a wonderful touch. The breackfast was elegantly laid, with fresh food of best quality. It was a winning combination!!!”
