“I stayed at the Manila Pavilion in Feb 2006. I found the hotel to be very nice. Located one block south of Rizal/Luneta Park and about five blocks east of Roxas Blvd, it's location is excellent. For those McDonalds and KFC fans, both are located across the street. The rooms are comfortable, but carpets are in some disrepair. I can only presume this will be rectified during the current renovation which includes relocating the entrance directly onto United Nations Blvd. The staff is absolutely outstanding. Check-in was superb and the Bell Service was awesome. The $20 US price for breakfast is a bit steep, but the quality and selection is great. If you can get a special rate that includes breakfast every other morning it is well worth it. If you want cheap entertainment, the Manila "Bay walk" is located just south of the US Embassy on Roxas Blvd. Lined with eateries, the Bay walk is a great place to experience Manila and live bands perform on Saturday nights. I intend to make the Manila Pavilion my home in Manila.” 2 of 3 people found this review helpful.Amenities at Manila Pavilion Hotel, Manila
