“Great old refurbished hotel in London. It is across the street from the underground. Close to the museums and places to eat very close. Rooms were comfortable and quiet.”

“The Millennium Bailey's is a nice hotel located across the street from the Gloucester Rd. tube stop making it very easy to get to the rest of London. The staff was very nice, the room clean although not large. Overall, it was a good deal for the price. I would not recommend "Olives" the hotel restaurant at all - very pricey, poor food.”

“The Holiday Inn Forumn in Kensington London was everything you would expect from a first class american hotel. It is also close to the subway and museums. I would gladly stay there again.”

“The Millennium Bailey Hotel is in a high traffic area with respect to tourists. If you are looking for a traditional London feel, avoid staying at this hotel, for there are a Starbucks, Burger King, Kentucky Fried Chicken and a Texas Lonestar located directly across the street. The accommodations are nice, though cleanliness and maintenance are questionable. During our stay of four days, our sheets were not changed. The garbage cans do not have bags in them. This could prove to be an issue, especially in the bathroom. There was an electronic tea kettle along with tea bags and instant coffee, but the tea kettle worked only through an outlet under the desk while resting on the floor. Those things would be easy to overlook, had the concierge services been satisfactory. This is not what I had expected from a four star establishment. Our luggage was not carried to our rooms. When we asked for information about the Princess Diana Memorial Walk, we did not receive any response. Apparently, only the Head Concierge can do research on the Web and did not make it a priority to at least contact us regarding our concern even though we returned to the desk twice after our initial request. And finally, the most annoying incident. I could not buy stamps at check-out time because only the Head Concierge can sell stamps and he was not there. I'm certain more guests would have a pleasant experience at the Millennium Bailey Hotel if the Head Concierge would loosen his grip and allow his employees the necessary resources to attend to the guests' needs in an appropriate and respectful manner.”

“It was not what I would expect from a four-star hotel, but this is typical of London. The room was barely big enough to fit the double bed, and it was no-frills. However, it was clean, in an excellent location, and the staff were very nice.”

“This was great value based on the rack rate that would normally be paid. I've booked with ActiveHotels lots of times now and don't think I'd even bother looking around any more.”
