• Clean, comfortable beds. Plentiful hot water with an efficient shower.

“Whilst the hotel was clean, the beds comfortable and the staff friendly and efficient the entire place is in urgent need of refurbishment and redecoration. Until this is done I would not recommend it to anyone else.”

• Very convenient for main shopping, nice pub on corner

“The Hotel was basic but comfortable. Breakfast was good. Hotel staff very helpful and friendly. Two minute walk from Marble Arch. Nice pub on corner of road. Would definitely use again.”

• Central and quiet location
• Lack of breakfast room and one side of the double bed placed against a wall.

“Friendly, small, basic but clean hotel which is ideally located within a few minutes' walk of Oxford Street, Marble Arch (Tube) and Hyde Park.”

• Nothing. Very poor for '65 a night, even for central London. 3 stars, no chance.
• No hot water, cigarette smoke EVERYWHERE, have to pay the entire bill on arrival!

“Overall a very poor guest house, reminiscent of Fawlty Towers! No hot water at any time, very very basic facilities, could do with a complete refurb...and to be cleaned wouldn't do any harm. It is the only, so called, hotel i've had to pay the entire balance before i've even been able to check in. I think the rating should be changed to 1 star...and I feel that is being more than generous!”
