• The staff were excellent and very friendly. The breakfast was very nice too.

“Room was comfortable and clean. Staff were friendly and very polite. The shared bathroom was clean and the shower was nice and hot.”

• Clean and tidy, good but unobtrusive service, very convenient position
• Room small, street light very bright - need blind or curtain lining.

“The hotel was pleasant, friendly without fussing at all. The location is pretty and very convenient to Kings Cross & Euston, and not too noisy at all. Breakfast basic but adequate.
Rooms very small and could do with a blind or dark lining on curtains to keep out the very bright street light at night.
Very good value for the money paid. Pleasant & reasonably priced pub around the corner for supper. (and a fox in the street outside the pub - in the middle of London !)”

• It was in a central location, convinient for the train
• It was very basic, and the building was in a relatively poor state of repair, with damp on the ceilings.

“The location was central, but the accommodation was very small and basic. A dripping tap and uncomfortable bed made for a poor night's sleep. Breakfast began at 7am, so as an early traveller to work in Manchester, I missed out. The location was the redeeming factor, although I suspect the quality of other nearby hotels may have been similar.”

“The hotel was easy to find, staff was very pleasant, the place was generally quiet, and breakfast was fast. I've already reserved a room for my next trip to London.”

• Very small room, limited noncontrollable ventilation
