• Close to tube station and direct line from the airport.
• Had to ask for linen. Hot water tank broke during our stay.

• Uncomfortable bed. Slept badly due to traffic noise even with window closed.

“Double glazing and air conditioning would have been a help to getting some real sleep. Most uncomfortable mattress in London.Probably better off on the floor.”

• The room, shower room and toilet were very clean and the staff very helpful and friendly. Very easy to find and very close to the station.

• Modern bathroom, clean and good location.
• Room 8 is directl;y under the breakfast room, and was woken at 5.00 am to continuous noise , footsteps and clattering as breakfast was prepared.

• was nice and close to kings cross station
• smaller than I expected, the shower/toilet area as a bit weird, didn't have a shower cubicle was an all in one place.

• Good location. The Bed is comfortable. Room facilities is clean
• A bit noisy. W.C is too tiny. No table nor chair inside the room.

“The hotel is convinent as it is only 5-10 mins walk to reach subway and St.Pancras train station. The room is clean and I feel comfortable with their service. However, the room facing the street is quite noisy as the street is quite busy even at nite. Moreover, there is no chair nor tea table for you to place stuffs with. The toilet is clean but really small. To conclude, the hotel would be a choice for the budget travellers who needs a convinent en-suite room in central London.”

• The staff were really friendly and showed us to our room. Everything was very clean, comfy bed, good location and well worth the money.
• There were noisy re-furbs going on in the morning which we weren't made aware of and the maid needs to wait more than 2 seconds for a reply before letting herself in of a morning.

“We were a bit concerned about staying in Kings Cross but went on the reviews of previous customers. The outside looked a bit grotty but don't let that put you off. The service was impeccable with the friendly chap on reception taking us up to the room and showing us where everything was. The room was immaculate. Dead clean with fresh towels, tea & coffee and crisp, clean bedding. The bathroom was spotless and the hotel itself was very quiet.”

• Excellent value. Ideal location. Just right for single overnight stay

“A basic simple hotel providing very good value in a convenient location. Just what we needed. This was not a luxury break, simply a suitable overnight stay following a pleasant evening in London so we could all enjoy ourselves without the worry of having to get home.
Staff were pleasant and helpful.”

• proche MTtro - quartier sympa - hotel facile a trouver
• Chambre faite une fois sur 3 jours - personnel pas tres souriant sauf la petite francaise qui y travaille -

“Aucun effort de la part de la direction pour etre aimable avec nous, pas de sourire, ils n'articulaient pas, nous avons compris 1/4 de ce qu'ils nous disaient. De plus, la chambre n'a TtT faite qu'une fois sur trois jours, meme le lit n'a pas TtT fait. Pas de seche cheveux dans la chambre, il faut le demander a l'acceuil s'il est disponible.
La salle de bain est tres propre, carrelage blanc de partout.
Mais vu le prix, il ne faut pas trop se plaindre non plus..”

• the service was fine and the room was big enough and rather clean, breakfast was fine to.
• the bathroom could have bin in a better condition, the shower was not working perfectly and there was no plase to keep things in the bathroom, like the hairdryer and stuff

• The room was fresh and bright, with plenty of room for us, and the ensuite was VERY clean.
• Some noise in the night from fellow guests

“On arrival the staff were friendly, helping us to our room, check-in was easy. This is a small hotel, but very adequate for our short stay. The room itself was clean and very spacious with a tiny but very clean ensuite [the cleanest and newest I have seen!]. We had a kettle with adequate tea bags, coffee and milk, and we also had a new refridgerator in the room. The continental breakfast was adequate for us - being 3 ladies, and the food was fresh. The staff were very helpful and kind and even offered to help with tourist information. It is easy to find, being a short 10 minute walk from Kings Cross railway station. The only downside was intermittent noise from fellow guests coming and going, but that is par for the course in London. All in all a good experience, I would certainly recommend this hotel, especially for a short 3-4 night London break. I and my friends will book in again.”

• Rooom and hotel corridors are very small.

“The area around the hotel was rather run-down, however it is a short walk only to excellent and vibrant Islington shops, restaurants, bars and also Sadlers Wells theatre.”
