  • Good food. Friendly staff. Helpful manager.
  • No towel rails in bathroom. Beds less than 3ft wide - too narrow. Insufficient tea bags.

  • Clean and comfortable room, friendly staff. Close to Motorway.
  • No complaints.

“I like to stay close to Motorway when in transit but do not like the very impersonal nature of e.g Travelodge, etc.”

  • Friendly helpfull staff, good food, comfortable public rooms
  • Bedroom window would not open, quite stuffy

  • UNDER COVER SECURE PARKING. EXCELLENT HOTEL WITH GOOD SERVICE AND EXCELLENT FOOD. FOR THE PRICE IT WAS EXCELLENT VALUE ALL AROUND.
  • NO BAD POINTS AT ALL, WE WERE MADE TO FEEL MOST WELCOME.

“WE COULD NOT HAVE FOUND ANY FAULTS DURING OUR STAY. THE VALUE FOR MONEY WAS EXCELLENT. WE TRAVELLED WITH OUR SPECIAL NEEDS CHILD AND THE STAFF WERE EXCELLENT WITH HIM.”

  • Staff - very attentative; excellent bar meals.
  • Small(narrow) single beds; low pressure on shower.

“Overall we were satisfied with the accommodation and meals. This is an old Inn with lots of character and history well placed for tourists.”
