• nice room, helpful staff, good food.
• no bed turn down or curtains closed

• Quiet and friendly. Good, quick efficient service in the Dining Room. Short walking distance to local shops and several Banks
• Only one tea bag in the room. It would have been better if I could have also made a cup of tea later in the day

“That there was no lift up to the second floor but the staff were very good and carried it up for me as I am elderly. The steps up into the hotel, down to the cloakroom and up to the second floor were not really disabled friendly.
It was good that there was space provided for the smokers of this world. I dismissed all non smoking hotels when I booked thro the internet.”

• A lovely relaxed atmosphere, individual style of furnishing, not standard 'eggbox' hotel style.

“I had already visited this hotel on a conference, and had been so impressed that I wanted to come back as a weekend guest. I was not disappointed - everything about the hotel (service, ambience, location) was absolutely excellent. In particular the food was of a very high standard - well beyond, in my view, what you would normally expect to find in a hotel, and more reminiscent of a high-quality restaurant.
