• Quiet, homely, generally pleasant staff, good parking, secure
• Bar meal average, Shower would not maintain temp.

“The hotel was pleasant enough although I have stayed in better for the money. The staff were on the whole good although I did feel that the breakfast staff were not that happy. I did get my requested break fast. My evening meal was adequate although I have had better for the money. My stay however was comfortable. The shower was either hot or cold and would not maintain it's temp. The TV picture was poor.”

“I would have preferred on-suite facilities. The shower was difficult to control, ran of a mixer tap, which was faulty, the hot water in the shower caused the pipes to come apart. The TV in the room was missing.”

• It was clean and the staff were very friendly
• The room was small. The bed probably needed to be changed as one sunk down low when entering the bed. Washing facilities were basic. no shower in room.

“They have only been there a short time so I would expect them to improve the facilities in due course.”

• Very friendly staff, bar facilties and cleanliness of hotel.

“Excellent value for money, the staff were all very friendly and made you feel wecomed. The hotel was very clean. The breakfast was very good.”

• Friendly staff. Meals excellent.
• Room no. 3 had a slight smell of cigarette smoke.

“Arrived at the hotel early in the evening, check in was eficient and the room price was less thai we had been told by phone. A meal was offered and this turned out to be excellent both in quality and quantity.”
