• Good location and clean.
• Tiny rooms, delay in service.

“Excellent location : 500 meters from two popular tube station (Paddington and Lancaster Gate), but to avoid the first day of travel if you are tired and jet legged : 2 p.m. earliest check in and avoid rooms across the road: tiny (I mean tiny, not small).”

“Terrific location, close to everything, staff very helpful, especially lady manager who does her utmost to please. However, big problem with elevator which is not functioning properly and was frequently out of order. Hopefully they'll get this remedied.”

• Staff were friendly and helpful, fruit bowl in room is a nice touch.
• Room was hot, air con noisy.

“I've stayed here twice now. First time I had a nice single room, second time I had a box with no windows. Overall it's a decent hotel, a bit expensive but probably no more so than most in central London.”

• central to all sights
• room 110 is over a boiler room and was extremely hot, even the air conditioning could'nt get it cool

• Location of the hotel was excellent. Porter services were friendly and helpful.
• The cost of breakfast was not displayed in the Hotel info. The double room was a bit small (indicated by the door to the en-suite which was hinged and folded in half!)

“The extra cost of breakfast should have been indicated. The restaurant 'attached' to the hotel was closed.”

• The room was a good size, very clean & tidy, surprisingly quiet considering the location. The location was brilliant & the staff friendly & helpful.
• The bathroom was a little on the small side, though the actual facilities provided within it was fine.

“The room size of our double room was perfect for us. The hotel's chief value is it's location for easy access to West End Shows, restaurants, etc. The bathroom was rather small but all the facilities provided were excellent & I would certainly use this hotel again. The staff were friendly & helpful & there were no problems at all.”

• Shower, Double bed was two singles pushed together, Facilities broken

“The hotel was very nice and generally finished to a high standard, however the staff only spoke the minimum required on reception which didn't create a friendly enviroment.

On first impressions of the room was very impressive however the TV picture was unwatchable and internet/mail via the TV did not work at all. The keyboard provided was also not working.

Several lamps had bulbs that had gone.

The shower head could of really have done with a good clean.

The bed was the most disapointing. In a premiere double room you expect more than two double beds pushed together. As they were also slightly different hieghts this made for a most uncomfortable sleep if you wished to sleep towards the centre of the bed.

Saying that the location is excellent if wanting to stay in central London, The staff where efficient if not the most talkative. If the hotel was to improve on these points it would be excellent.”

• Clean and modern. Large window overlooking main street. High up. Very central.
• Very small room. No bath, shower only. No dinner available in hotel, breakfast only.

“I would have like to have known that dinner was not available in this hotel and the room was shower only. Hotel was expensive for the size of the room but the staff were very helpful.”

• Gorgeous decor in room

“I loved the hotel, we arrived to hear that our room had been upgraded to a four poster suite which was fantastic for the price i had paid. The staff were very pleasent and helpful. It was a lovely environment. I will definately be staying there the next time im in london.”

• For Central London, the room was larger than expected and very comfortable.
• Bar was only open between 5pm & 6pm!!

“This hotel was a great base for Central London. It was moderately priced and the accommodation was very comfortable.

Broadband access in room was a bonus.

Hotel amenities were not great - bar not open, but in Central London, not a problem.”

• The location of the hotel couold not have been better
• The hotels air conditioning was not working, therefor the room was horridously hot all evening. In my opinion and the opinion of the receptionist herself, the hotel was uderstaffed and the level of service was fairly poor.

“Overall the hotel was well situated, clean with stylish room fixtures. However the cramped room size was exasperated by the lack of air conditioning and the staff appeared to be unable do deal with the problem professionally.”

• Excellent standard of room - well decorated and comfortable.
• Shower room needed a little upgrading - the sink was cracked and the shower head did not stay in one place, spraying water everywhere.

“The hotel is in an excellent location, clean and modern. However, it would normally be outside my budget - I only stayed here on this occasion because there was a special rate.”
