“I found this hotel good value for money. The staff are very polite. The room is clean and comfortable. The breakfast is reasonable. The wireless broadband is excellent and I had no problems connecting or using it. I have been using it for several weeks now and intend to continue using it.”

“The hotel is right opposite Kings Cross Train Station so there was no problem finding it. The checking process was easy and hassle free, the guy who dealt with me was very friendly and efficient. The hotel is well decorated and is clean (which is more than can be said about some of the other budget hotels in London!). The room was a good size and had plenty of space to hang items etc. It was fairly quiet but no hotel is going to be quiet all the time as people come and go during all hours, that's just the way it is and it is never really a hotels fault. The bathroom was an odd shape but quite big and served its purpose well. The breakfast was in a very spacious basement room that had a pleasant feel to the place, unfortunately the coffee was cheap granules and the buffet breakfast was not very appetising (I eat anything but even I had to leave the sausages!), having said that though, there was limitless toast and orange juice, not to mention cereal so it wasn't that bad. The stay was pleasant, I am very experienced at staying in budget hotels in London, this was one of the better ones but I do feel '60 for the night was quite expensive for this time of the year (February), I think next time I will take my chances and go for somewhere cheaper.”

“The standard of the hotel is what I expected for that price in London. Just that we were given what I think was the smallest room and on the 4th floor. However, it was clean and most of all very convenient if you use St. Pancras Station.”

“Adequate for the price, but I would have preferred something quieter and a bit more spacious. The website pictures suggest that the rooms are bigger.”

“The hotel is incredibly close to King's Cross and very easy to find. The location seemed perfectly safe. The rooms were basic, clean and good value for money. Just what you want from a B & B.”

“Great location, good price. It was a bit basic and the bathroom was too cold to even contemplate a shower, but if you are looking for value for money in central London it is fine.

“The hotel is very convenient from trasportation point of view. The TV and tea making facility is very useful to have but the room seems quite small. The double bed was not comfortable as well.”

“You get what you pay for and this hotel did the trick with a low cost for a one night stay for two people in london.Right next to the tube and ideal if you are walking back after the tube shuts as it's only about 15 mins from Tottenham court road. The breakfast buffet offered a good selection(sausage/bacon/egg/beans/tomatoes/toast/cereal/coffee/juice) but it was cold-the heating console obviously needs replacing.

“For the price, this was an excellent hotel, although there was some room for improvement. The breakfast was poor, with a very limited choice. The bathroom had nowhere to store a towel, and the shower tended to wet the bathroom floor. But these are minor issues. The room was warm and clean, with a good firm bed.”

“Room was on top floor and there was no lift or help with luggage. The breakfast was inedible (rubbery overcooked eggs, stringy bacon etc). The bathroom was small, no plug in sink and hot tap didnt work.Other visitors were noisy and we were woken by a row in an adjoining room around 6am. The whole experience was very disappointing and not what we expected from the web site.”

“Overall the stay was pleasant, the reception staff were polite and the rooms were tidy. However the single room was very 'compact' but they were tidy and clean.”

“Hopefully other (lower-floor) rooms were larger and better equipped; Room 407 was very noisy (see above)and lacked soap, shampoo, even a bath-mat. For one night it was adequate, for a weekend break we would have been bitterly disappointed and probably would have wlaked out. Excellent breakfast and dining room (but no marmalade !).

“Overall the accommodation was acceptable for a small hotel. The hotel was well situated, friendly, had good facilities i.e. on suite, TV, Tea Coffee. The breakfast served was lovely. One small point I might raise is that I would have liked to have been told the bar facilities i.e. if there was one, what time it opened/closed etc. I would certainly be looking to stay there again or in a similar hotel rather than paying a lot of money for a large hotel. Many thanks for a nice overnight stay.” Hotel Representatives:
