“Nice rooms and bathrooms. The location is on the edge of Bloomsbury, and we were hoping for something closer to the city center. There is good access to the tube and busses to get to town quickly. Overall, a great stay. Would not call this Bloomsbury though. At least 10 minutes walk from Bloomsbury. It was great for the money!”

“Hotel was clean. Lobby was small. No pool. It really seemed to be a 3* hotel rather than a 4*. But it was clean.”

“Great location (across from the British Library), very nice rooms, spacious by European standards. Good service. For some reason the beds gave me a backache, but that could have been me.”

“Staff was friendly and helpful. Slept fine on the bed. Room was clean and a had a separate office area. On check-in, requested room on high floor on back side of building so road noise wouldn't be issue. Was given this. Room had no a/c or a/c was broken. It wasn't very hot outside, but room was still stuffy, so had to sleep w/ window open and hear traffic noise.”

“A beautiful place to stay the rooms are spacious and ours gave us a wonderful view. Definitely ask for a room above the 12th floor. Staff was gracious and helpful.”

“The hotel was exceptionally clean. Housekeeping staff excellent and the situation of the hotel was quite central. We asked for a quiet room and got one. My only complaint, 1 lady at the reception is in the wrong job; not a people person at all and totally disregarded us when speaking to her. For the rest, I would stay there again.”

“The 4-star quality level was justified; it was very comfortable and modern, extremely convenient to public transportation, and the very substantial breakfast buffet.”

“This hotel is relatively new. Rooms are nicely decorated although on the small side as is typical of London. There was only one chair in the room for two of us. The location is wonderful for the British library and the British Museum as well as the tube and Chunnel train. Rooms have a fridge and coffee maker which we utilize since food is SO expensive in London. Mattresses were sagging so they don't appear to be taking care of the rooms as they should. The concierges were terrible. They couldn't answer basic questions about trains to Gatwick airport or the nearby British library. I had to go to the train station to find out the information.”

“Overall the actual hotel was okay. The room was large, but plain. But if you factor in that it is only 2 minutes walk from St Pancras Station and that it only cost $100, then the hotel was amazing. It is impossible to find a hotel in London for only $100.”

“I would stay here again. It had a great location with lots of restaurants and pubs close by. It was easy to get to. The hotel had just installed some nice flat screen plasma TV's in all the rooms. Everything is just so expensive in London that it is nice to get a break on your hotel stay.”

“Hotel lobby nice. Room ok but communicating rooms give no privacy, bed extremely short for average person; TV system offers fewer channels than Moscow under communist dictatorship and screen too small and too far away from bed.”

“No internet, outrageous (expensive) phone usage charge (local), small room size.”

“Great value! Definitely the nicest hotel I've ever had in London. Bigger than most London rooms, and very modern as well. Also very convenient, next to British Library and just two blocks from the St. Pancras/Kings Cross tube stop. The location is the only thing holding it back; being that Kings Cross isn't really your stop for anything other than connecting to other lines and the Eurorail. Although if you are into British rock music, The Scala and Mondo Water Rats are within walking distance and all the Camden clubs just a few stops away. That said all major sights are very close by either bus or tube. But there is a Starbucks, a pub and Pizza Express right across the street. Bed was very comfortable as well.”

“There is only one reason to stay at this hotel and that is its close proximity to St Pancreas station and Euro star.”

“This hotel was slightly off the beaten track, but it was fairly comfortable and clean. While it was not deluxe and I would not rate it even 4-star, it had all necessary amenities (bar, restaurant, etc). And the price was fantastic!”

“Hotel was great value for the price. Very close to British Library and within walking distance to British Museum. Nice gym. Room also had great view since we were on high floor.”
